Adventuremice at Buckfastleigh Library | 2pm - 3pm
Join legends Philip Reeve & Sarah McIntyre at Buckfastleigh Library for drawing and story shenanigans! Find out how the Adventuremice team tunnel far, far underground to discover Fern Cavern and its tiny and not-quite-terrifying dinosaurs. Learn how to draw the Hamstersaurus Rex and help invent a new game!
The Valiant Soldier | 10am - 5pm
Visit the Valiant Soldier, “the pub where time was never called”. A ghost of a time capsule frozen in the 1960’s when the pub closed for the last time.
The Wool Hub | 11am - 3pm
The Wool Hub will be open and welcome visitors during the Wintertide. Our shop with beautiful handmade woollen item for sale as well as knitting and felting wool and needles.
11am-1pm: Weaver a Bookmark or Coaster
Join their weaver specialist Noni Mackenzie for a drop-in workshop. She will be on hand to show you how to use a weaving loom.
1pm-3pm: Drop-In Needle Felting
Make yourself a Christmas bauble with one of their felting specialists: Rita Pearson.

The Share Shed
The Share Shed team will be in their usual spot in The Globe car park during Wintertide with their ‘mobile library of things’ van. Learn more about their community-driven project, which offers access to hundreds of items you can borrow rather than buy. They also offer FREE annual membership to low-income households.
Dyno Climbing Centre | 12pm - 6pm
They are a friendly climbing centre open to all ages and abilities. They have a roped climbing wall suitable for top rope and leading as well as a boulder room, both feature an array of climbing routes varying in styles, angles and difficulty. There’s free on-site parking, a café, a viewing balcony, accessible toilets with baby changing facilities and a book corner. There’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
